Talking It's A Girl!!!
Finally after my LONG LONG wait, we were blessed with a beautiful 8 week old baby girl, we picked right up from the hospital ...I am soooo excited. Have no clue what the future will hold for us with her. You know how that goes with foster kids, it seems like things change all the time as far as if the child will be adoptable or re-united.

she is foster right now. However we were told this would be long term. So you never know.

Congratulations!!! Not sure if I'm even allowed to ask this (please don't answer if I'm not allowed) but what agency are you going through? Or is it the county direct?

Thanks everyone for your nice posts. We just love her and pray she will be with us forever. Their is no chance of RU,so that is good, court is Dec. 1st. We will know more then.

Jen- I was reading your news. Congrats!!!! How long was your wait?
I am glad to see another family being created similar to ours. Some people think we are nuts or saints! Neither of which we are. We are just people who want to continue to grow our family!

where in Cali are you?? Sounds like we may have a lot in common. Our last placement was in January and she was RU with grandma in April. No calls until this baby girl. So it was a LONG wait. Lots of mamas on here will tell you if you are with an agency, the county is better. The county has even told me they place children with their foster families first before looking for an agency. Our little princess is not without health issue's as well. I have also heard that the county will look for other agency homes if the child has health issue's. If I had to do it over I would go county for sure. Talk to you soon!
