Ok so our last placement was in Jan. and she left us in April. Nothing since. I am going crazy. I wait and wait for the phone to ring and nothing I have talked with our agency and because we only want infants it is hard. I know it is not just our agency as I have talked with the county as well. I have heard however with the economy the way it is and so many people having financial hardship that foster care may become more of a demand. That is sad to hear tho. I going nuts waiting...My baby stuff is collecting lots of dust. Somedays I think I should just sell it all and get out of foster care. But I love doing it, just frusterated.

have you asked to see your agencies list of cakidsconnection kids? most agencies have access to a list in addition to the one on the web for the public to view? i know you don't want to hear this, but seriously, i still hear of lots and lots of BABIES that need homes in riverside county. don't give up! call and ask to speak to a supervisor at your agency...you need some answers.

thanks for your response. I am just frusterated. I guess the right baby hasn't found us yet. Thats the way I have to look at it

I know exactly how you feel. When we first started foster to adopt, we had a placement of a sibling group within the first week of our license, then about four months later we were place with our foster (now adopted) son. After that nothing for six months. We got a baby for a week, then she was moved. Then another eight months before we got another baby, suppose to stay forever, left after two months. So another three months went by and were placed with a wonderful baby, whom we hope to adopt. A couple of weeks ago we accepted his older brother, whom we also hope to adopt. My belief is that you will get the children you are suppose to have. I have had to wait alot, but in the end I have ended up with four beautiful children. Hang in there it will happen.
