Hi Everyone!

My husband and I live in Riverside County and we are looking into Fost-Adopt. We attended an orientation meeting held by the County last weekend and we've decided that rather than work with the County we'd rather work with a Foster Family Agency. Can anyone recommend an agency that places children within our County? We are trying to gather as much information as we can before we make any decisions. Thanks!

you can pm me. i adopted 3 through an ffa in rivs, and now am adopting one through the county. i may get less money doing it this way (through the foster stage at least) but man is it a WHOLE lot easier! for the ffa we had to do soooo sooooo soooooooo much more paperwork. visits with cw were once a week, as opposed to once a month, AND i never ever managed to get a cw worth much...and so i very often cut them out of the loop and talked with the county worker directly anyway. i regret having used an ffa. it was not helpful AT ALL. it actually bugs me all over again just thinking about it. lol...but if you must, then i will tell you the one everyone seems to think is the best one in the area...and you can see for yourself.
