I know this is late notice, but I've become the leader of a support group for families who are fostering, adopting, and thinking about fostering.

It's great having a place to come and meet with others who understand the crazy world that is fostering and adopting.

We meet every third Saturday at 5:30PM at:

Hope Chapel - Hermosa Beach
2420 Pacific Coast Highway,
Hermosa Beach, CA 90254

in the Upper Room. Babysitting is provided and free.

My hubby and I are in the final stage of our classes and hope to have our application and home study completed by the end of the year. Would be very interested in a local group to share in the process. Hope to hear if one exists!

The support group I run has its next meeting on the first Saturday in October, which I think is the 3rd. We meet at a church in the South Bay area.
