We're also in Clovis! We moved here just over a year ago from El Dorado County.

I don't know that we are going to do fost/adopt yet though. I'm just going to the info meeting tonight on it.

We adopted our youngest child privately.....open domestic trans-racial adoption. We just finished updating our homestudy for private adoption actually. I have NO idea what all the county would want us to do. It's tough for us to both get to classes at the same time because of children at home too.

We are pretty open but only looking to adopt an infant (our youngest is one and we won't adopt out of birthorder). Open to all races, with a preference for AA or part AA.

We are Fresno.

We're wondering if anyone could shed some light on what kind of questions are asked and what to expect during the home study interviews. We are essentially just waiting for that now.

Well, you better sharpen your pencil....There's alot of paperwork to fill out.

It also depends on whether you have a placement....
If yes, is the fc a relative?

Those factors can make a huge differnce. Have you licensed w/ your county or a FFA?

This is for fresno county. We are foster licensed and our application is turned in.

At this point, I think it's just the interview. Just wondering what to expect.
