Hi Yash,

I have a bio child who is 12, she has a pretty much set schedule. I am interested in foster-adoption as well. I work in SF and live in Oakland CA. I have decided to have my foster/adopted child be attending school in SF that way I can manage to have more time with foster child. I have a pretty good schedule I assume m-f 10-6. i was thinking doctors app could be done in SF, and take them during my lunch break. My plans sound good, I will let you know once I actually get a placement!!!

work from home

I strictly telecommute and even though I have a set schedule that I have to work it's about as perfect as it gets...6 AM until 2:30 PM, Tuesday through Saturday. This leaves Mondays completely open for doctor's appointments.

update

I got my first placement on Friday evening. A little girl named Willow. She's so tiny, adorable, and fiesty.

Her case hasn't been to court yet so we'll see what happens.

FYI - I asked infants to be placed with me because when my son came home, I made a vow that he would always be the oldest. My son is 18 months so anyone who comes into our home and joins our family, however temporarily, needs to be younger than him.

My son is in awe, jealous, and disappointed by Willow. He looks at her with such wide eyed amazement and wants to touch her. Though he doesn't like that I sometimes put him down to pick her up. I'm HIS mommy. We're working on the sharing thing. And lastly, he seems sad that she can't throw a ball or eat cheerios. He tried to give her some on Sunday so they no longer can be left in a room alone together.

Yash
