returning child

Has anyone had a foster child removed and then had that same child come back to live with them and then adopt? We are starting a process where a little girl had to be removed from our home but now she is available for adoption and we are wondering if it is at all possable to get her back. Has anyone gone through this?

I had a similar situation Last july I had a 3 year old little boy placed with me. In november I had to have him removed from my home I had a lot of problems with him His behavior was the main issue Iam a single parent si it got just to hard for me to handle. I thought it would do him some good to be in a home where there are no children They moved him to a home with 2 other children one being younger then him fm started having the similar problems but things where worse I saw him 1 time after he left and he looked so sad. after that day I let my agency know that if things did not work out in the fh I want him back The difference is he was going to be reunified. On may 1st he was returned to me I just sat him down and talked to him about my rules and how he had to follow them. He was reunified on luly 27 I think I did the best thing by taking him back. my agency just wanted to make sure that I was sure I felt as if I gave up on him to quickly and the fc was devasted when he moved to the other home so Iam sure they could place the child back with you but it just depends on why the child was taken out of the home who's idea etc... hope this helps
