How long did it take to get your first placement?
I am going through Olive Crest and became licenced on Aug 2nd. I have had one placement call but it fell through because the little one was just to sick to be placed in a regular foster home
I am really excited about this new adventure. Any advice would be helpful.

We were licensed for 2 months thru one agency with NO placements so we switched to another agency which took a couple of months and are now licenced with them. We got our license about a month ago and got called for one placement but it fell thru because they found a family that would take all 4 kids(they were all cousins)and we are only able to take 2. Waiting stinks.....I am in Michigan.

We finished up pride classes on Thursday and got our first placement the following monday.A beautiful little 8 month old girl who is now almost 6 and our 6th adoption.We were licensed through the county and never didn't have a placement.We went on to adopt 3 of them.I know the waiting is the worst part but it will be just a memory once your child is placed with you.Good Luck

12 days. Homestudy signed June 3, newborn baby born placed June 15th and still a part of our family
