We're currently working with an attorney which means we are basically doing this on our own. I"m going to give it a few months (our profile is online) but I feel rather discouraged and disillusioned so I want to have my back-up plan ready to go to if needed. ( So very much hoping we don't need it).

Take your time. There are agencies and facilitators out there willing to prey on your emotions, some of whom will simply take your money (a lot of it) and do nothing for you. We'd be glad to share our personal experience(s).

Hi, we also were looking into a facilitor. We check out many different ones. Our agency finally gave us the ok I like this one. We came very close to signing with this one, but at the same time we got the news we were being consider for the baby. Here is my email. drampar@cox. You can pm if you like to talk more.

We adopted our beautiful baby girl through her. Our adoption took 2 months. We know other couples who went through her as well. All of the adoptions took less than a year from start to finish. She is the BEST!
