I am interested in talking to people who practice Judaism, a religion (whether they were born so or converted or are interfaith), and who are raising their child(ren) Jewish, whether the children were born Jewish or not, no matter what the race/ethnicity the children are.

Hello we are Jewish, However we do not live in the bay area. We are going through the state for our adoption. We are adopting a girl 0-3 yrs and possibly a sibling. We are in the process of waiting for a match and then we will start the transition process of bringing them into our home. What kind of information are you looking for and for what purpose? Well, since you are in the process now, I'm curious as to what some of your concerns are, if you have any. Is your community diverse, or do you worry that you will stick out? How are you prepared to handle the questions/comments/stares? Do you attend synangogue, and does it reflect the new look of your family?
