i am searching for my birthmother, birthfather, and any other birth relatives. i was born in oakland california on 7/9/49, born with blue eyes, blond hair, and a broken arm. i am of irish/englsih decent. my bmom was underage and from back east and came to the oakland area to be closer to my bdad who was in the navy and stationed in the san francisco bay area. i was adopted by jacob henry & vesta virginia sawyers from the children's home society of california in san francisco. both of my adopted parents have passed away.

Does your non-identifying information from Children's Home Society give the actual states of birth for your birth parents? If not, you should contact CHS and request this information or if your non-id is more than 10 years old you should request a new report. Most agencies are giving out much more comprehensive information today than they did in the past and this additional information is very helpful in the search.
