I am actively searching for my half brother born 09/03/1962 in Long Beach California to Edith Elaine Vallier and James Hodges. His birth name was Stephen Micheal or Michael Hodges. My mother passed away 6 years ago and my 6 other siblings never knew about this child. My mother died with this secret. I found out when I found a book of her's that she had a list of the web sites she was registered at had adoption.com among the list. I came here to complete the process she started 2 years before she died. I am sure that I found that book for a reason and I would like to make this my mothers dieing wish. Even if she never told us about him. My mothers best friend said that every year on his birthday my mother would cry and wish him a happy birthday. So if anyone has any information that could help me I would be very happy.
