I have gone through about 50 pages of messages trying to find the Sacramento or Fresno County adoption messages from 1959 and 1960. I'm getting a headache! This is one of the best posting sites I've found but it would help to narrow the messages down by the info I have. Any help?

The forums aren't that specific - you can look in the years section of the forums or the state section of the forums - but we don't have years forums for each state.

At the top of the page there is a search section. You can type in the year you want to search and every post with that year will come up, or you can do an advanced search. Click on search and then click on advanced search. I have used it by typing in the words I want to search separating each word with a comma.

I was born in Sacramento County Hospital in 1951 and am trying to get my original birth certificate. My adoption took place in KY and my NID did not have any information to help me. I do know my bmother's name but do not know my bfather's name. I was hoping my original birth certificate could give more info such as age of both my bparents' when I was born, etc. Any ideas on how to look it up on line or do I need to petition the CA court to get a copy?
