California Birth Index
I checked online at Vital-Search and it seems that you can only search by last name. I was hoping to search by birthdate, in case there is a "duplicate" listing for my date and place of birth. Is the birth index available anywhere else besides the internet?

BUT... I cannot use CD's on my computer and my hubby's keyboard went out yesterday. He can't live without his computer though (and I don't share mine very well, lol) so he'll have a new keyboard in a day or two.
