Do you still have your membership to the CA birth certificate database? If so, I have some dates that I would like to look up if you're willing.

Thanks to your link, I went in and saw my info, but I already knew it, so I was able to go in for free. However, my younger brother and sister were also adopted, and we don't know their bparent names, so thought a date lookup would be neat.

I am looking for a friend for his birthparents if you could help out by looking up his birth date: 07-16-1973 he thinks he was adopted in San Diego County because his adoption was when he was 3 months and he was born in Escondido. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you happen to know his birth name by chance?

There are 39 baby boys born on 7-16-73 in San Diego County and only 1 no name baby boy (possibly 2, but I think it's a duplicate).

PM me his adopted name and I'll see if he's listed that way.

Yes, I got it.

There are 196 female babies born on your DOB in L.A. County.
3 are no names babies(maybe 4 but I believe 1 to be a duplicate)

You could have been named by your bparents or you could be listed under your adopted name, however, I checked the name you have listed in your profile and there's nothing under that name either.

Let me know if you have any other info.

Some years both the birth names and the amended names are listed. Other years the birth names are listed but the amended names are not; also the amended name could be listed but not the birth name.

click on California, and then choose birth index. As stated before, you will need a username and password. Use "vitalguest" as the user name and "enjoy" as your password. I sent for them and it took me several days to receive the username and password. These are the ones sent to me. Once the next window opens, you are ready to search. Type in a last name only. It will bring up everyone born (including thier birth dates) in California in the years they have info and their mother's maiden name. You can originize your search by clicking on "Last name", "first name", "date of birth", or "mothers maiden name". Good luck on your searches.
