adoption help
hi i need a little help .i am looking for my grandmother maxine king who gave a child up for adoption in the mid to late 40's he was born in 1943 in san diego .i found his father family but father died in 1980 and the family is half siblings have no idea who the mother was just knew about the child .the adoption was final in 1947 .the only information i have on her is her name can some one help me find her i need to know her medical history because i am very ill thank you shirl

Your father should contact the adoption agency that handled the adoption and request "non-identifying information" from his adoption file. With this additional information about the birth mother you should be able to locate her since you have a name.
