I am helping my fiancee in search of his birthfamily. All we know is that his bcert. says he was born 9/29/69 in El Monte (Los Angeles) CA. We have the address of the place he was born, but can't find which hospital it is. We also found out what his original social security # was when he was born through his ss statement which they gave to him on accident. As we have just started this search we don't know if this info can be used to trace his family or not. We are trying to have a child of our own and have been unsucessful for over a year now. Any family medical history would be nice, and the chance for him to meet his family and settle some unanswered questions would be nice. He knows 1969 was a tough time to have a child and most mothers were put in homes and hidden away. We are not looking to unveil "secrets" or cause any disruption, however for peace of mind, it would be nice to hear from anyone. Thanks!
