LOOKING FOR a girl born 11/24/1976 angie
I am searching for my 1/2 sister Angela Vaughn ( that was a long time ago she may be married or changed because of adoption) any ideas on how to find her?

i'm not 100 percent on what you mean, I know she was put into adoption for abuse reasons, after birth

Response
Most relinquishment and adoptions happen when the child is a few days or few weeks old. Other adoptions happen when the child is older if the child has been removed from the home for health or safety reasons. Usually these non-infant adoptions are what is called a "delayed registration" for the purpose of amending the birth certificate to reflect the new adopted name and the name of the adoptive parents.

Angela Ray Vaughn was taken into foster care at the age of 4 and placed in riverside california where she remained for at least 6 years that i know of. she was with the same family for all of that time. during this time she was a ward of the orange county court. she was taken out of her fathers home for abuse by a step mother. who spent time in prison for it. me her natural mother was never notified of the situation and when i did find out the foster parents refused to allow me any contact with angela. and there was no satisfactory response from the orange county court systems either. i was never notified of any adoption but it could have happened
