Hi All,
I'm new adoption. My husband and I are wanting to adopt a little boy age 2 or 3. We can decide on Bulgaria or Guatemala. We have 2 daughters ages 10 and 14. We don't know much adout the adoption agencys. Their are so many it can be a little overwhelming. Does anyone know anything about Wasatch International adoption or Childrens House International?
Could some of you who have already been down this road share your experience?

Bulgaria is a wonderful country with a lot of deserving children. WE have been in the process for well over a year. They are very slow over there. Whomever you choose, look them up on the BBB and check them out on adoption websites to make sure they are a good agency. WE used adopt an angel out of GA. WE are in SC. We always were able to communicate with them, and they try their best to explain things. Delays over there are no fun. The only thing I can tell you is it will all be worth it when you see your child for the first time, and then return 9 months later to bring him home, permanently. Good luck!

I would suggest Finally Family Adoption Agency in Chicago. They have both programs in Guatemala and Bulgaria. The nice thing is that they have a staff member in Bulgaria to welcome and help parents once in Bulgaria.

They have a lot of knowledge about both programs.
