I know this post is from a while ago, but my family has adopted successfully from Haskovo orphanage. I know of only one other family who has so if you're still looking for information I'd be happy to talk with you!

Visited Haskovo
We visited Haskovo in April of this year to see a child our agency referred us. It was not a great experience, and we did not end up pursuing the adoption. I'd be happy to share our experience with anyone wanting further information. We are now in our agency's Panama program and are very happy thus far.

I'm sorry that you're experience in Bulgaria was bad, which orphanage did you go to? The younger or older one?
