Court on Friday

Just had to share. I know these boards aren't as active as the yahoo groups but had to share anyhow. Too excited not to. We are scheduled to have court on Friday, October 14th. Nervous as this is the first time that we have not had to appear in court for an adoption. Seems strange but great at the same time. Still stressing it even though I'm not there. Is that possible? LOL. Praying that in 2 days, we will become the proud parents of 3 more children.

Hope all went well for you in court and that time passes quickly until they are all home with you.

That is awesome!! I'm wondering though... how does that process work? Did you get to spend much time with them yet and learn what they are like?? I'm just asking out of curiosity... I sometimes dream of what it would be like to adopt 2 or 3 more, but worry about the fit with my kids I have now. We adopted through foster care, and didn't get our sib group of 4 all at the same time. In retrospect, I think it would have been harder getting them all at once. There's a sib group of 3 on the photolisting I would LOVE to bring home, but it's kind of scary when I think seriously on it, wondering how it would all work out in reality, with the different personalities... To see a photo and hear a story that touches you, then to be told you were matched and come get them, that is some mind-blowing faith! It seems more so that they are on the other side of the world! Best wishes to your family as you prepare for and welcome your newest childrens' arrival! I hope you will keep us informed of how it goes. Your story is so inspiring.

Thanks so much. We do have a blog that I can give out. No allowed to post it on here as it has a chip-in bar. We didn't intend to originally add 3 more at once. Just kind of happened. LOL. After meeting them though, these three will fit in perfectly with our bunch at home. The first month is always hard no matter what introducing different personalities. HOwever, they all tend to find where they fit in. We've adopted 2 at once 3X before. 1 at once one time and now this is our first (& LAST!) 3 at once. I'm not worried about the older two at all. The youngest will have much to over come. It will take a lot of emotional healing but we've been there before w/ 2 of our other kids. Now that the shock has worn off today, we're getting prepared for it all. You can follow along the blog if you'd like. Just email me for the address. I talk about FAS here & there b/c 6 of my kids have some degree of it. But mostly, blog is about the kids and about our adoptions. Thanks for the well wishes everyone. We are thrilled!

Can you email me your blog info? I would like to see how the process went. We just began the process for Bulgaria.

Congrats!
