You are confused about a few things-If you adopt from Bulgaria, you can not get a child 6 months old.Children are not put up for international adoption until they are one year old. Then it can take anywhere from 9-14 months to bring your child home.We waited nine months to bring our son home and he was worth the wait. I know you can adopt a 6 month old child from Russia. But before you do a homestudy, you need to decide on the country. It needs to be country specific. Most people give a age range in their homestudy-I prefer a child 4-6 months old but would consider a child up to a year old(or whatever you want) Also state if you want boy or girl. I never heard of someone that signed with more than one agency. Some agencies do not allow this. Also most agencies will not refer a child to you unless you have a completed homestudy and are signed with them.Please question the ones that do. I hope this helps you. Good luck in your adoption.

Hi, i know sometimes is very confussing.. but i never ever heard of somebody adopting from different agency. I think is even against the policy of the agenies. We adopted with Finally Family and we got our child 6 months after we submit our documents. Over all it was a pleasant experience and we are considering a second adoption from BG.
