Hi everyone,
Thought you might find this interesting. It is a link to a news article about Bulgaria's efforts to radify their Family Code. Family Code project approved by the Cabinet - News news Note: something not mentioned in this article, but was mentioned by my agency in BG, another big change that this radification to the Family Code will do is to change how the children are elected into the register for adoption. Currently they go through court. A proposal is that this process should become an administrative procedure rather than a drawn out court process. Also mentioned by my agency, the MOJ has started publishing a list of the numbers of the registered potential adoptive parents that they are currently considering. -K

Thanks for the update. I heard they were considering dropping the age to 6 months - that is wonderful. Hopefully more people will consider Bulgaria.- now that they can bring home an infant!
