i was just wondering if any Canadians had adopted from Bulgaria and would like to share info, give advice, etc.

Or if anyone has adopted a toddler recently or who is currently going through the process would like to chat i would appreciate any info at all.

My husband and I are also from Canada and are seriously considering adopting from Bulgaria. We adopted our beautiful daughter from China July 2007 at 7 1/2 months of age. I am finding that there is not alot of information on the adoptive process in Bulgaria and we would also be very greatful for any information, websites, blogs etc that anyone can give us.

I am in Saskatchewan. Thanks for the links. The last agency I wasn't aware of but their website has some good information. I have also been talking with Choices in BC but they actually haven't had any children come home yet although have sent some dossiers over.

We are still waiting to do our homestudy.

Catt13 - no worries Unfortunately, because of some agencies "backlash" and complaints over the years, we had to implement the no agency discussion rule for ANYTHING. Decided it wouldn't be fair to only allow positive experiences when there are negative ones as well, so that is why we require all feedback to be done privately.
