An exciting new program

It is my pleasure to be able to introduce you to a program which I
think may be of interest to many of you. In the past some of you have
asked what you could do for the older children, for the
children left behind, or those who are not available for adoption. Some
of you expressed your desire for your children to have a way to remain
linked to their country of birth in some concrete way, and this program
would enable them to do this.
The program is run by a man by the name of Nick Hindman, who
presently spends three months each year in the United States earning the
money to support himself, and the other nine months in Russia running a
sponsorship program for children in the orphanages. He is presently in Bulgaria,
meeting with representatives of two humanitarian aid programs.
This program is different than many other types of sponsorship
programs that are available in that it allows you to develop a much more
personal relationship with your child(ren). The program has been
functioning in Russia for some time, but when I first came in contact
with Nick he was looking to expand into different areas to accommodate
other interested sponsors, and to benefit many more children. I
immediately jumped at the opportunity to ask him if he might consider
expanding the program into Bulgaria. He received this suggestion
enthusiastically, as he had been considering Bulgaria as a possible next
step. Right now he is visiting orphanages in various parts of Bulgaria
to find an orphanage suitable for the program, and a Director willing to
allow the program to take place.
Within the next week or so, Nick will be returning to Russia, filled
with enthusiasm for helping the Bulgarian children, and will then be
compiling all the necessary information to begin assigning children to
sponsors possibly in late April, or May. He is hoping that by then he
will have sponsors lined up for all the children in the first Bulgarian
orphanage he has selected.
Please go to http://rosp.tripod.com and read about the present
program in Russia. The Bulgarian program is not yet mentioned on the
site, but the website will be altered shortly to reflect this new aspect
of the program. If you are interested in helping in this worthwhile
way, as I am sure you will be, please fill in the sign-up form
indicating "Bulgaria" in the comments section. That way as soon as
things are ready to go, Nick can contact us with all the necessary
information for us to make a commitment to help one of these children.
Please join with me to improve the life of the waiting children.
Thank you.
