Hi, I hope you don't mind me responding. It's unusual to see a birth father looking for a child. I had a daughter born in BC in the spring of 1982. The mother and I are no longer together. We have signed up for the passive registry, but nothing yet.

What I'd like to know is how did you find out about the disclosure veto? Had you gone through vital statistics? I live in Ontario now and I just feel like it would be good to have a contact who is going through a similar search out west.
