Smile Free of Charge Searching Resources...?

I've had a thread on here about this before, but is there any way to do a free search online? I'm tired of dead ends and haven't got the moolah to do all these expensive searches... can any one offer up any advice?

I agree

Why should adoptees have to pay to find birthfamily.
I think there should be more free search places. I do not have $300-$500 to pay for a search that may or may not turn up any thing.

HI guys, I know that the Ministry of Children and Families has a reunion registry. There is a fee to sign up BUT if you can prove that you don't have the extra cash they waive the fee. The registry is passive so you will only find someone if they also joing the registry. Not exactly what you guys are looking for BUT it's better than nothing!! Also there is someone on this board in BC that helps with searching for free.........I will find her name and post it to you later. Good luck!
