Just wondering if you have sent to Vital Statistics in Victoria for you orginal birth registration, the cost is 50 dollars. That is how I started my search. Mine gave me my mother's address at the time of my birth. Then you look in the Henderson Directory for the address and the year you were born. This might be of some help to you.
