boy born Dec 19/1969 Vancouver

I'm looking for a boy born Dec 19 1969 in Grace Hospital in Vancouver. The adoption was finalized on October 5 1970. Adoptive family has Japanese mother and Caucasian father. One younger sister. Are you out there?

Hello,

Are you aware that adoption files are open in BC? Please look through the ministries website! For $50, as long as a non disclosure veto has not been filed by your bchild, you can receive your file.....it should take less tham 6 weeks.
http://www.mcf.gov.bc.ca/adoption/info_birth.htm

Also, you can write a letter to:

Information and Privacy Records Branch,
Ministry of Health Services
7-1, 1515 Blanshard Street
Victoria, BC V8V 3C8
250-952-3492

....and request all information entitled to you pertaining to the adoption of your birth son. Give as much info that you have! Oh yes, this info is free.

Good luck.

Thanks for the information. However I am not the birth mother, I am the birth sister. I believe that only birth parents can fill out these applications.

I think that there is a passive reunion registry that you can at least sign up for. Good luck!
