And thought I should stop in here and say hello afterall! It has been one week that I am on the accelerated Goldfarb protocol and I think it's coming along without a hitch. I just got the info for a GREAT lactation consultant from what I hear. I think I am noticing tissue changes too but can't be sure.

I guess I will be joining you on the fast track! I cant handle the bc pill anymore. Making me dizzy, spotting like crazy and so I will start pumping this weekend and start the herbal stuff. I have been on bc for 37 days. Hopefully that is enough to get things going!

Hi Tara! Things are going great! I was on the BCP for 29 days, and just stopped last week. I have been pumping for almost 3 weeks, but was only doing it maybe 3 times a day. Since Friday I have been pumping ALOT more. The LLL leader suggested trying to pump between 12-14 times a day, so that's my goal. I have been getting a few droplets right from the first time I began pumping. I am also taking Blessed Thistle and Fenugreek in addition to the dom. Since I have increased the pumping schedule the amout has really increased for me. We are still talking a very small amt, but it is a step in the right direction!

Are you in contact w/ LLL?

Looks like we are pretty much on track together! I just started pumping today. I am getting little drops each time I pump. I am using a hand pump because I cant get the electric one until tomorrow morning. I am trying to pump every 2 hours but today it has been about every three. I dont know what I will do when I am at work (I am a teacher). I am thinking that maybe I will hide in the bathroom and just do like 5 minutes. Better than nothing for6 hours!
Baby is due for you soon right? We still dont even have a match. I really hope something happens in the near future! I dont want to be pumping for months and months!

I am also taking the same herbs as you. So far, so good

Yep, any day we will get the call that he's here! I am climbing the walls. Crummy about not getting a chance away from the grind to pump.

Congratulations on the drops!! Isn't just the most amazing thing?! I actually got enough drops to make into the collection cup!

OK, I have to ask - are you reeking of maple syrup yet? I smell like a giant stack of pancakes from all the fenugreek -- (pancakes!)

nope, no maple syrup yet! i just started taking the herbs yesterday. I know that the pills smell something weird though!
I have been trying to pump every 2-3 hours today and doing good but starting to get sore now. Should be a few days of pain before it gets better I imagine...

I cant wait to hear when baby comes! My sil is due on the 23rd. We are getting very excited for that little one around here!
Are you going to be there right away after he is born?

I am taking 2 Fenugreek 3 times a day. I really am smelly! (in addition to the blessed thistle)

We don't know exactly how the hospital is gonna go, but we are close, only about 20 or so minutes from the hospital.

Are you using lansinoh or something for your nipples? It seems to help the tenderness a bit.

I am starting to know the smell of maple syrrup! Thats all I can smell on my hands now and as far as the rest of me, I cant tell. I will wait for my husband or kids to say something, then I will really know that I stink!
I got the electric pump today! Wow, much better. I hated that hand pump even though it was only for 24 hours.
Lots of drops happening. Nothing in the holding tank though! haha

Woot! I finally got a tiny puddle in the bottom of the collection cup, which you can bet I am saving!!

I am hoping to get 5 ounces today. Will will see if it happens! I only have 40cc's to go and I am averging about 20-30 per pumping.

Yay Tink! How do you save it? Just dump it into baggies? haha I am not quite there! Can you tell? I am getting more and more drops each time but not enough to go to the collection bottle. Lots and lots of moisture though!
