Hello. We are expecting a newborn placement in the next few weeks. I'm on the Newman protocol and having success (10-14 oz per day after 3 weeks pumping). I'm wondering if I'll need the SNS at first. I'm thinking I probably should, just in case. Which SNS do you recommend?
I also wanted to say that reading these entries has been incredibly helpful. It's an emotional boost to know that other women are going through this. Thanks! |

I have never used either, but I am guessing if you can get to about 16 ounces, then you will not need it at all. You probably won't need it either way, because your milk will increase quickly and greatly when you place her to the breast. Congratulations!

I strongly prefered the LactAid. The Medela was far too bulky for me.
