Question about breastfeeding

Hi I would like to breastfeed my next adopted child. I didn't breastfeed my adopted son because it was a very last minute placement and by the time I thought about it and asked the Dr. when he was 3 weeks old the Dr. said "No" I would have to have gone of certian meds and such, I was also slightly anemic at the time.
Anyway this time around I am in great health and am already switching meds. Our paperwork won't be ready till after the other meds should be out of my system. But I am wondering what are the best methods when you will probably be matched with the baby at the last minute. We probably won't have more than 24 hrs notice that we are matched and need to pick up our newborn. (This is how our son's adoption went and happens a lot with African AMerican newborn adoptions)
So what are the best last minute ways to start breastfeeding?

If you know you will be adopting in the next few weeks/months, you can begin now. There is a great website (don't think I can post the link here) that gives a protocal if you have several months to prepare and a protocal if you have a few weeks to prepare. Just type "adoptive breastfeeding" into your search engine and you can find all kinds of info. The protocal I have been reading about is put out by Dr. Lenore.

I too did not breastfeed my first son and I totally regret it. I feel like I missed out on an incredible bonding experience. I am definitely going to breastfeed, or at least try, my next child.
