Breastfeeding and transmittable diseases?
I am wondering if anyone has information about breastfeeding an adopted baby when you don't know whether they have a potentially transmittable disease. Is it possible to contract something from the adopted baby while breastfeeding?

The babies and b-mothers have health screenings when they are in the hospital so I can't imagine they would have transmittable diseases. And if they came back positive on it, the doctors definitely would take precautions and notify all those involved. The only thing transmitted from my baby to me while breastfeeding was LOVE
