You can pump "religiously" for at least a month before the baby comes, either with our without the help of hormone supplements (prescribed by dr.). OR you can wait till baby arrives and feeding time becomes the "pumping"--may also need to pump in between baby's feedings to get the milk going. Another option in the SNS mentioned above which gives baby a reason to keep sucking--she's getting the formula from the SNS but it "pumps" the mom. Remember, this won't be enough to be the sole nutrition--especially at 6 months. I'm not even sure how that would work with a baby that old who hasn't done it before? Call the LaLeche League, talk to your health dept., you doctor, etc. When I checked into it WWW wasn't very common yet, but now I'd check there if I were you. Good luck!

During his infancy I supplied about half of his needs (breastmilk) and supplmented using the SNS. You can do it too!
