Brasil Adoption Information & Web Site

We do have contacts in Brazil & we are still having difficulties. Since the U.S has not ratified the Hague International Adoption Inter-Country Agreement, Brazil has only authorized or given access to only a few adoption assistance agencies. The agencies that have representatives in Brazil will be most successful. We are having an agency compile our dossier for us but we will have to deal with the Brazilian government, National and Local, to complete the adoption process. I, Henry, am in the military and do not have $20,000.00 for an agency to acquire a child from Brazil or any other country for my wife & I. The fees involved in adopting a child from Brazil are strictly the fees the adoption agency charges. The Brazilian Government, National or Local does not charge any fees for the adoption. See Web site (http://brasil.adopt.com) to find out more info about Brazilian Adoptions. So far, the only adoption agency I have found that will do a complete adoption process is the International Adoption Assistance, Inc. Agency in Harrisburg, PA. www.internationaladoptionassistance.com
1-877-750-0826 Their fee is $20,000.00
If you have a contact in Brazil, try
The international Adoption Center, Elkins Park, Pa. (a suburb of Philly) Fee is around $5000.00 or less. Ph.#215-782-1191
They will compile the dossier for you, but you will have to do the rest.
I have 44 web sites (links) from Web site (http://brasil.adopt.com) of adoption info that I could not post in this message box. If some one wants them, respond with an e-mail address in your RE:

Starting the adoption process

Hi!

I've got information for adoption in Brazil if you are interested. Since you are starting the process I am not sure if you have decided for a country or if you want information on any country.

Just give me some ideas what you are looking for so I can send you some tipos. We are adopting from Brazil and will be traveling soon to pick up our children.

All the best!
