18th B-Day today 1-12-87

I'm a birthmother and my son just turned 18 today. Jan 12,1987. i heard that there wouldn't be a forum for 1987 until next year and thought after waiting 18 years that it was long enough so i posted anyway.
This has been a very sad but yet very happy day. My tears has not yet to quit.
I pray to God that somewhere out there that he believes he has a BirthMother that is constantly thinking about him. He was born in Eunice Louisiana. Oneday i Pray that we shall meet face to face.
I have so many question for you and I also have so many answers for you as well. I have taken this entire day off work just to search for information that will bring us closer together. If anyone out there would like to share any information that may be helpful in searching for him, i would really appreciate it. This is only my first day of my search but not the first day of pain, and sadness. I could use any information that you have used in the past that has proved to be successful . Thanks Sandra

Just wanted to give you ((((hugs))) my son turns 18 on the 28th of this month so I know how you feel.

Have you contacted the agency/attorney that you placed with to update your file? That's usually a good place to start.

Hi there. I understand your feelings. My daughter turned 18 last year. I am still waiting for the creation of the 1986 board here on this forum. You are correct that the entire year has to pass before they will create a 1987 board. They ALL have to turn 18..(as you can see, we still dont have 1986 yet).

My daughter was born in 1986 in Illinois. Feel free to write me or PM any time if you need someone to talk with.

Hi Suz, thanks for the repy. I couldn't wait for the 1987 board so went ahead posted anyway. Good Luck with the search for your daughter, I pray you will find her soon.
