I am searching for my birthdaughter-- born July 4, 1984 at Sacred Heart Medical Center Spokane, Washington. At birth I named you Sarah.
Your adoption was thru Lutheran Social Services. I have contacted them but the "reunting agent" is only there on Mondays. I can't seem to get a return call. (I have no idea why she won't call me back.) But I am going to keep calling.
I pray that one day I will get to meet you again.

You can also get non-identifying information (non-id) from the county where the adoption was finalized (which most of the time will be the county where the a-parents lived at the time). You will get the adopted first name and a-parent's first names and ages, along with other general info.

Getting the non-id is cheaper than getting it from an agency BUT you get a whole lot more info from agencies usually. So definitely pursue getting both.

Contact the county clerk of the Superior Court to get the non-id.
