I gave my daughter up for adoption in april of 83. It was a private adoption. Her adoptive father found a profile I created at Adoption.com just before Christmas and told my daughter about it. She mailed me a letter on January 17th . I freaked out it was so unexpected. I really never thought I would find her online! Anyways she came to florida this week for 2 days. She lives in Atlanta. All my questions havew been answered. She has wonderful parents. I feel so whole now that I know shes ok and that I know where she is! I even have her cell phone! She is 19 and I have 2 other children, 16 and 12, and they all hit it off. We both dont know where to go now, its so wierd. Were not like a mom and daughter. Its just too weird! I love her tho and I hope well keep in touch. Good luck to all of you. i no longer come home from work and scroll thru the posts! I did for a year and It almost killed me. I was so frenzied over finding her! I wish all of you the same stroke of luck I got.

This is so awesome! There is so much joy leaping from your post yet I know I cannot even begin to feel what you must be experiencing.
