Hi, I had a son on July 17, 1978. He was a very small 4 lbs 11 oz. His born place was in Glendale, AZ. Last name on born cert was Gentry. I was told that he was going to New York. I have a feeling that with all the changing of dates and places of birth back in the 70's, maybe the birthparents were lied to about the sex of the baby. That would make searching for your child or birthparent rather difficult, huh? Searching for my sister's biological son, born January of 1978. Adopted through Saint Andre's Home in Biddeford, ME.

We were told that he was being adopted into a family who had another adopted son, either 2 or 4 years older; the father was in the fuel/oil business and mother was a hairdresser.
