I am searching for my biological family I have out there. I was born (according to my B.C.) on 2-3-1974 in Duval county. I was adopted through the Children's Home Society located in Jacksonville, FL. I over heard in my teen years that my biological mother was around 13 yrs old when I was born and my father was around 17 yrs old when I was born.
According to duval county courthouse records, I was 3 months old and given to CHS by HRS for adoption. I was officially adopted at 10 months of age. At the time of adoption a copy of my adoption papers went to the vital statics, adoptive parent and HRS.

Hello dialblokiller. I am a fellow 1974 relinquished child but on the other side of the USA(california). With the information you've given seems like a heartbreaker for all involved.
I want to share with you even though i've been called nutty for saying i remember relinquishment at 3 days old. For you to PREPARE YOURSELF. 3 months time is a lot more time with your family than i had. I just figure its a lot more rush of memories you might not be prepared to deal with in your life.
