I am looking for a Search Angel who might be able to help me locate my Half-Sibling. One of the reasons I am looking for her (besides for myself) is our grandfather is not doing well ( he has parkinson's, Leukemia and prostate cancer) and it would be his DREAM to meet his missing grandaughter before he dies.

This is what I know about the Adoptive family and Adoptee:

The adoptive parents provided the following information when they adopted your sibling. The adoptive parents were married for approximately 6 years. The adoptive parents were planning to rear your sibling in the Catholic faith.


The adoptive father was 27 years of age. Physically, he weighed 165 pounds, was 5'11" tall with blonde hair, blue eyes and a fair complexion. He completed college and was employed as an Internal Auditor. He had one sibling. The adoptive mother was 29 years of
age. Physically, she weighed 134 pounds, was 5'9" tall with light brown hair, blue eyes and a fair complexion. She completed high school and was a homemaker. She had two siblings.

Your sibling was born September 23, 1973 at Hotel Dieu Hospital. she weighed 5 pounds, 10 ounces and was 19 ½" in length. Your sibling was named "Theresa Ann" by her birth mother. Your sister was placed with the adoptive parents on October 16, 1973. The adoptive family also adopted a son in 1971.

Birthmom was 18 at time of birth, she was born December 1954 her name is Sheila and the Birthfather was also 18 at time of birth. He was born July 1955, his name is Joseph.

I have registered with LA Adoption Reunion and ISSR Soundex amoung other agenices. My father has recently provided non-identifying medical information about my father with Catholic Charities of New Orleans.
