The adoption was handled by the Children's Home Society of Florida, Mae Lovelace was the caseworker.
The adoption was held up for about 6 weeks due to difficulty getting the B-father's signature. Her birthweight was 8 LBS, 6 1/2 OZ, born at 8:29 PM.
I was told her A-parents were tall, college-educated,
had dark hair and were Episcopalian. I learned years
later that they also adopted a boy so she has a younger brother. She also has a younger half-brother, the son of my husband and I, who would love to know
