I've been searching for years and don't have much hope left, I think this will be one of the last times I post.



These are birth names that I gave them at birth, these are not their current adoptive names, I do not have that info (

Birth name - Donald Mark Drinkwater
Born 08/25/78 at DePaul Hospital Norfolk VA

Birth name - Brenda Christine Drinkwater Born 09/03/79 at DePaul Hospital Norfolk VA

Adoption handled by Virginia Beach Social Services, Children were not given up at birth, last time I was allowed to see them was Mothers Day 1980 - wrote them both long letters and included a picture for their adoptive parents to give them some day, but was told later by the new caseworker that she doubted they would give it to them, but that she encouraged them to do so.

(PostScript) I was 18 and stupid/naive, I never signed anything, never received any copies of any paperwork at all. My brother was 'involved' with my caseworker at the time, later she was removed and replaced, so I am not at all sure of anything anymore. I am now realizing how much in control of it all my brother truly was.

Kim has gone to the court houses and looked for me, there is no reference to them at all that she can find.
