I'm 32 yrs old and I have been searching all my life to find the what it is to be Me .... for 16 yrs. I have been searching for who it is that put me on this earth ,and now ....I'm tired and I haven't found one single lead . Do I give-up, on the dream of ever finding that face those eyes that look like mine . I really am so unsure these days , I need so input ... anyone ? lookin for some thing !

What info do you have? Im not asking for it, just wondered what you have to work with. Non ID info? stuff like that. I can try to give ideas ...

NOTICE: The State of Colorado has a “Confidential Intermediary” search program that will search for and contact birth relatives. Be aware that if the person you are seeking declines contact you will not be given information to contact them yourself. There is generally a fee associated with this service.

Using a Confidential Intermediary: Adopted adults, adoptive parents, birth parents, and birth siblings and half-siblings age 18 or older may file a motion in the court to appoint a confidential intermediary to search for birth relatives who are older than 18. Original Birth Certificate: For adoptions finalized after September 1, 1999, an adoptee 18 or older will automatically have access to original birth records unless a birth parent has filed a confidentiality request within 3 years of relinquishment. If an adoptee is part of an adopted sibling group, all members of the sibling group must be 18 before records can be released. If a confidentiality request is on file, the parties can still use the confidential intermediary process and mutually agree to contact and release of the original birth records. For adoptions finalized prior to September 1, 1999, birth parents and adoptees will have access to original birth records by mutual consent. Confidential intermediaries will be able to secure release of adoption records to mutually consenting parties. If the party being sought is deceased, records will be available to the searching party.

Please never give up. I am a birth mom who started searching for my bdaughter born 6-6-71 this year. You never know what makes a person start searching. My bdaughter was almost 33 before I started my search.

Denver71 i too looked for yrs. iwould stop and then later start looking again i guess i thought i would never find them then this yr my daughter found out the her son's dad faimly had alot of medical problems so i decided i needed to find them. i got on the net since i had bparnets names on really started looking check alot of different sites then on a tv show a guy said to sheck the white pgs i did and a found them my daughter called that night they had both passed away. but i did find 5brothers and sisters.Don't give up there's alot of people here that will listen and try to help u LOTS OF LUCK

what state were you born in? I too having been looking for a sister for 10 years now with no leads - nothing - brick walls. But I will never give up. Have you ever requested your NON ID from the State you were born in? And what is your birthdate?
