Binghamton looking for Siblings
Looking for brother, who was given up to the City of Binghamton Welfare Department. Mother could not care for 3 children. Last name on Birth certificate was Shaver. I was born 02/23/1960, I had one brother born before me and one born between 1961 and 1963. Do you have any information at all? Mother had red hair and freckles.

Shaver family has been found, but we are still looking for possible other siblings given up at birth, between 1946-1950 then 1962-1970. no dates are known

I found the Shaver family In August, I reunited two brothers and two sisters with their mom after 46 years. We still believe there were at least 6 or 7 other siblings, birthmom says no, but her sisters said there were at least 10 or 12 born. We know that in 1950 she was at the poorhouse with one that was handicapped. So if you were born in Binghamton or PA in the years 1950- 1954 or 1964-1970, perhaps you are related. The siblings are looking for any other brothers or sisters, birthmom is ill and we will not inform her of this find should it happen.
