I was told I was adopted sometime in the first year of my life. My adopted father's name is Anthony Joseph Donato, (dob 04-19-25) son of Lena Donato (maiden: Torregrossa) and Salvatore (Sam) Donato Lena was a dress maker and Sam a Barber in Coney Island NY My adopted mothers name is Angela Maria Rose Donato (dob 09-12-23) daughter of Rose Daprino and Anthony Daprino I was told when I was 28 years old (the day after my adopted father died) that I was adopted but there is a mystery surrounding it. My adopted Mom (who is 80+ years old) says she does not remember the circumstances surrounding my adoption except for this: My adopted Mom and Dad moved from Brooklyn to Martinsburgh West Va. sometime around 1961-1962 and sometime shortly after that I was adopted. The only thing that Mom rembers is that my BIRTH mom was probally around 15 years old and of Italian desent and my father was of German desent (maybe) That is all I have been told, other family members include: John and Sue (adopted mom's sister) Langro Betty (adopted mom's sister) and Joe Langro Mike (adopted mom's brother)and Anna Daprino Frank (adopted mom's brother)and Pat Daprino Mary (adopted fathers aunt)and Sam Crapazano That is all I know...........Ring any bells with anyone? I have had and continue to enjoy a GREAT life and have much room in my heart and family for my birth family!!!! I have a family of my own... 2 sons and a loving wife. I would really like to think that my birth mom thinks of me as often as I think of her (everyday) and HOPE and PRAY I will find her (or her me) and hope to also find my birth father.

Anthony . . are you related to a Betty Langro? I wonder if she is a member of the Langro family I have been inquiring about.
