ISO female adoptee b. 9/8/1961 WV or OH
I am trying to help my mom find her birth sister.
My aunt was born in Point Pleasant, WV 9/8/1961. My mom believes the adoption took place in OH in Franklin County. WV tells us that Ohio would have created an Ohio Birth Certificate. Ohio tells us an amended birth certificate would have been filed in WV. You are the 7th of 10 children. When you were born, 6 of your siblings were in foster care or at the Franklin County Children's home in Columbus, OH. My mom thinks my grandmother was forced to give you up in order to get some of her children back. Your brothers and sisters would love to find you. They just want to know if you've had a good life, if you have dark hair and wear glasses like all of us. They hope you had it easier than they did. So if this sounds like it could possibly be you, please reply here. You have 6 sisters, 3 brothers, tons of nephews, 2 nieces, and a couple of great nieces and nephews who would love to meet you, if you want to. |

Found Her!
Thank you, thank you, thank you. There isn't a doubt in my mind that we have found my aunt.
I would like to say thank you to the search angels and others who have helped me along the way. And thank you for this forum, without it, we may never have found her. I am grateful and so blessed. As soon as we have irrefutable proof, and as long as it is ok with my aunt, I will post our story. |
