ok maybe this is a long shot, but you sort of fit the profile of my brother I am looking for. Are you positive that your information about parents is accurate? Because I am the youngest of my mothers children born in 1962 in St. Petersburg. My brother and two sisters were taken from her by the state and placed for adoption in the late 50's. The girls were adopted by the same family and my brother has not been seen since. I have found all of the other children except for him. I think we even look a little alike. Check here: Interface Custom Controls, Inc. and click on the company profile. My name is Cindy Negen. My picture is posted there. Any way you wanted long shots and maybe this is one, but what if it isn't?

I forgot to tell you one other thing. I was raised in Michigan and my mothers family has many ties to Michigan and Ohio. I have two Aunts in Toldeo and My grandmother lived there. When I found everyone I found out that I was raised only 20 miles from where they all lived in Toledo. Like I said maybe it is a lot of coincidences, but I have been looking long enough to know that a long shot is better than no shot at all.

Long Shots Are Absolutely Better Then No Shots

Hi Iface1,

Yes indeed long shots are better then no shots. Lets explore a bit,if nothing else I will keep your history in mind in case it lines up with someone else I may meet along the way. Let me state her I am the wife of the adoptee, not the adoptee himself. I post on his behalf as the continual searching can take it's toil on ones heart and soul ( not to mention time) I am sure you are aware of the roller coaster ride , as you indicate you have been searching for a long time. Okay enough of the introduction on my side, down to the knitty gritty.

I am not sure how accurate our information is,what will have been TOLD via written non id and verbal phone converstations with the Children's Home Society
does not make any of it FACT. Though I suspect a good part of it too be true, such as the personality traits of the birth parents, I have la mental picture of their personalities and physcial appearance, again here how accurate my picture is who knows?. ... what can you tell me about your b mom and siblings. Have you found any of them?Have you registried with familytreedna.com ? This would be one way to match sibings I do believe. They have a sample of my husband's ( whose name is Bob by the way ) DNA on file. If it would interest you to know more about the familytreedna.com let me know. So this leaves us all with some things to begin comparing. I am guessing you have been to the web page with all the info about Bob's missing family? If not, let me know and I will send you the link. Get back with me with a bit more info on your birth mom., and thank you for taking the time to reply.

Shade
PS pardon any typo's I am not the best typist

Well the traits of my mother are not very good. She had 6 children and only three of them have the same father. She was very tall 6'4 and heavy set. She had brown eyes and brown hair. She was what I like to call a free spirit. I have located all of the other children with the exception of David.

My mother passed away in a vehicle accident in June 1964 in River Rouge Michigan. I was 2 years old at the time.

What else can I answer for you?

iface1,

Well ,I think we have just eliminated any possible relationship ,as my husbands birth parents are both still living. Good luck with your search

Best

Thank you and good luck to you too! Thank you for the DNA tip. I have just ordered it. I think it will be amazing to figure out a little heritage if nothing else.
