I am searching for my son, DOB 4/6/1970 in Hyattsville, MD. Adoption through Catholic Charities in Washington, DC. I resided at St. Anne's Infant and Maternity Home from January 1970 until he was born. I knitted a yellow sweater, hat and booties set that was supposed to go with him. After leaving the hospital, he went into foster care for two months.

I am a daugher searching for my birth mother and the only info I have is that she was 17 and stayed at St. Annes Infant and Maternity Home and it was done through Catholic Charities. I was born 12-10-72 and you are the only person I've heard mention St. Anne's so I was wondering if you could tell me what it was like for you there and how you were treated so i may have some idea about the conditions surrounding my own birth mothers experience. My brother was said to be born in Mass but he was told his family was in MD

We believe my brother was born April 4, 1971. He was placed in our home for foster care where we later adopted him in 1975. The adoption took place in Florida.
We believe his last name at birth to be Peck.

My son was born on 04/06/1970 in Hyattsville, MD and was place in foster care for two months. I don't know if he left the foster care or was adopted by the family.
