Hi there,
My adoption was arranged by Dr. Alice Challen as well. When I called her to ask for help (she is still alive) she said she didn't have any records any longer. If you've made progress down this avenue, esp. in the area of how she works, I would appreciate it. I was born 9/29/63. Thanks! Kris |

Dr. Alice Challen
My adoption was handled through legal services. (lawyer) My aparents had the paper that the lawyer drew up to change custody from the Sanders to the Daigres. I don't know if Challen did all legalized adoptions or not, but perhaps there is a paper trail through the county of Alameda, (or another county). I think you could be traced through your adopted parents name and your DOB.
